Are SMSes Tricking You Into Buying These Stocks?

sms stocks scam fraud india

Many unscrupulous operators have started sending SMSes that look like they are being sent by authoritative sources such as HDFC, Stock Axis, Kotak, Share Khan, etc.

These SMSes recommend stocks whose prices are manipulated.

Innocent investors fall for the SMSes and end up buying stocks and burning their cash.

Here is a list of such stocks, this list will be continuously updated as and when new stock SMSes arrive.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE STOCKS!

Remember that the SMS senders have started mixing up stocks – good with the suspect stocks. We have reported the suspect stocks below.

I urge you to ignore all SMSes that recommend stocks because it is possible that all the suspect stocks are not covered below as these may have escaped our attention.

IMPORTANT NOTE: THis blog post is not in any way a reflection on the mentioned companies’ management. Its aim is to expose operators who first buy shares and then fool investors by sending out authoritative-looking SMSes. Again, this post is not against the management of any company.

  1. Sunil Sir, If and when you are free…I am tracking a company WPIL…in the Balance sheet.. revenue shown is 6000 odd Lakhs…and trade receivable shown is 16000 odd lakhs… Is this case of taking the investor for a ride…with no cash flow

    • That’s not a healthy sign. Check if the receivables are caught up in government contracts. Best is to call and ask, and if they do not provide a satisfactory answer, sell and get out of the stock.

  2. Very useful track … wonder when the momentum gets the attention of authorities. Enjoy yr content as well as convos. Thanks.
